Mans Birthday card with buttons

This is for the UK thread challenge on cricut, to make a masculine card using buttons I have used one of my topper previously mentioned the card has photographed a little yellower than it actually is the base card is a hammered oatmeal colour & the green is mellow moss from SU subtle range, black twill tape 2.5cm was from a bale of tea towels I just bought! I didn't have black buttons as most of my crafting stuff is still at church after my last craft day so I used a permanent marker on some lime green ones, greeting & tree stamp more details on blog, really need to finish packing now xx

I have been playing

well things have been moving so fast this week, got my new stampin up! stuff on Monday & my new camera on Tuesday so been playing with both, will be able to get those nice close up pictures now, this is from the "Lovley As a Tree" stamped in "chocolate chip" & with the sentiments from "Cheer & Wishes", these are only some toppers I have been working on as most of my stuff is still in church cupboard I first chalked the sky whilst masking off a with a circle to create the sun using a cotton wool ball, I think I need the "sponge daubers" now, I used the blender pens to stipple some detail & to create the flowers in the grass, I have to say once I'd got the technique down these took 5mins a card, am loving the new stuff, also got the 5 petal flower punch & the scallop edge punch as I know how much you liked the punches, will be getting more of these

birthday card

here is a Birthday card I made for my DD's friend, the party was today, I used PS for the letters which I welded onto a square in DS to make the back of the card. I like the jumbled look of GS but don't have the cart but with DS you can make your own anyway, the top layer is CB embossed with swiss dots & I have embellished with beads the backing card is a pink gingham CS the size of this card is 6" x 6"

Circle card, cuttlebug challenge, not a square or rectangle

this card kinda reminds me of an eight ball, is for a very special friend of ours, I have used WC in DS to get the biggest size envie to card, card size when finished is 4.5 x 4.5" I used bazzill red devil & truffle, an oatmeal hammered card & a pearlised paper for the sentiment inside
the red is embossed with birthday folder, oatmeal swiss dots & the inside sentiment page is embossed with cow parsley, the front sentiment is from WC & is cut out of black faux suede, the writing inside is computer generated & took a few printed attempt to make sure it would be in the cut out zone, I used the cutout from the oatmeal sheet to marry up this bit, also had a little trouble getting this one to stand up so snipped a little off the bottom to stabilize

wedding card, challenge

so here's my entry for the UK crafters thread challenge, to make a wedding card, I used A4 white hammered card stock & cut out a panel using DS then welded the name together using OA & DS cut in pearlised gold card, I cut a panel to go inside the cut out hole then covered this in Cath Kidston mini strawberry paper then crossed it twice in a lush red velvet, the front of the card is an oatmeal hammered card stock with a cutout from SB in same colour & I have punched MS arch lattice down the side, the inside is printed in draft the same as the front strawberry panel on white pearlised paper & the text is computer generated, 8 red eyelets again with two cross overs of the same red velvet ribbon & the inside has the same punched edge

Cath Kidston inspired boxes

My Step Sister Jessie is getting married & I offered to make her favor boxes she is having a garden party type event & likes the Cath Kidston style so I have made a few boxes for her to choose from I think these would look great with polka dot ribbon but I don't have any, accent paper is a cut & paste from the wallpaper range called rose sprig & mini strawberry which I printed out, heart flower box & bag are from TBBM & the pillow boxes are from WS

6 year old card

Here is the card i made for my daughters best friend, I welded 2 no. 6's back to back using DS in shadow SB then cut out a smaller no. 6 in paper can't remember the name of the paper but it's nice & happy, I welded the name Maisy again using SB & DS & cut this in mint pearlised card & used pop dots to raise it a little on the inside I used the birthday girl cut from SB in shadow & normal in an orange pearlised paper & a coloured paper underneath, I had to snip a bit off the bottom of the card to make sure it stood okay.
