I am just lovin my new letraset promarker pens I have to admit I was a little sceptical about buying them against getting a standard felt tip pen, my word they are wonderful I enjoyed myself a lot with these, this is the first Tilda I have coloured got in a recent swap & the first thing I coloured using promarkers I am chuffed with my finished piece & what a joy is was to couple it with lilyboo's flower images too. So the challenge this week on polkadoodles was to create a get well card incorporating a bug of some kind & using a different medium of ribbon I used partly unravelled raffia string which I made into a bit more foliage & then completely unravelled to tie in a knot," just because I care" is an SU stamp. I would like to send this to one of the children my Friend Enfys introduced us to the other day if you would like to take part here is the link its for children dealing with long term illnesses. "Get well soon" would not have worked in this case as most of them won't for a very long time & sometimes even never so is a cheerier card just to bring a little sunshine. I used a roller stamp with SU ink & then clear embossed, my bug is the bee tilda is holding although my 6 YO did point out she ought not to be holding a bee as it might sting her! here is the link for the stair step fold card

ReplyDeleteA truly inspirational card and use of the different stamps and layers. I personally have not made a card like this but can see it would be enjoyable. For a first attempt on colouring I think the detail and shading is brilliant. Well done Rosy you are so clever.
