My challenge card

so here's mine, I used a lovely fairy paper for the base which I didn't want to hide with a large circle so I made mine in acetate which I embossed through the CB & edged with stazon ink to difine, the glitter line I did one first which I did wonky so I did another in a long cross over to correct my mistake, this is ultra fine glitter just stuck on a line of DS tape, buttons are from stash, retro ones & the ribbon is from 99p shop, the greeting is stamped onto the ribbon using stazon, the corner is turned down & secured with a dress makers pin. you can find the challenge at Polkadoodles

Challenge card by Margaret

Margaret has used some very bold colours on this one which I love, I like the way you have mirrored the pattern from the circles to the turn down edge.

Challenge card by Gay

Another great craft day

here is the stands I had at our last craft day, we had one for all the wonderful buys I got in America & the other was all my Stampin Up! kit, once the girls had had a good look at it all I let them play with it, as you know I love to share all my stuff, during the day I highlighted the Lovely as a tree set of stamp these are wonderful stamps & you don't have to just use them on cards, here I have shown them being used on many different mediums, candles, glass, canvas & wood

Embellished Wedding Album

Had a request from a lovely friend's daughter to embellish a wedding album so on my visit to US I found this beautiful oyster 8x8 album & I cut bells from WSC in 3 layers of a hammered matching card stock embossing the middle layer in swiss dots & Our Wedding greeting from WC cut twice then layered slightly off to give definition, I took the photo's in my home made photo light box I made last night am quite pleased with the resulting piccy's but think I need a bigger box! & a better light. did not want to over embellish it.

Bespoke Birthday Card, Phoenix Blue

I had a request from my special friend Lori to make her Daughter a bespoke Birthday card, the design was to incorporate her daughters favourite colour blue & a phoenix a personal symbol to her, she liked the blue valentine card layout I did previously, so with this in mind here is what I created, finished off with a lined box of its own, pictures are a little yellow due to fluorescent light really need to get a photo light box

Did I go shopping!

Got back today lunch time from our family trip to Orlando FL had a wonderful time & just had to get all my shopping stuff together, am totally shattered so no energy to play, must give a really big thank you to TuMadre AKA Sandy who picked me up from Hard Rock Hotel where we were staying & took me shopping, we hit several Micheals & Joann's & Walmart just look at all the wonderful stuff I bought, Sandy even saved some coupons for me so I got some great discounts including a bonus purchase nudge nudge! the Disney carts were on sale at $30 I was like a kid in a sweet shop, If you are going to a foreign place I would highly recommend seeking out a buddy to help you shop this is what I did & it was such a pleasure to meet Sandy I would never of found the shops without her. the holiday was wonderful too although we felt a little out of our league as the hotel was so expensive, was a fantastic prize to win & the whole family had a great time, I really need to get off to bed now
