Minty Mothers day card
here is the card I have made for my Mum. Mothers day here tomorrow in UK, this is an A4 card stock in silver with flower embossing for base folded in 1/2 then I cut an oval from SB using DS to re-size first in mirror silver then in pearlised mint green card stock, the MUM is cut using BB in shadow & normal cut in white card & mint, the flourish & leaves are from HA & the hibiscus is SB again all in white & mint. popped & layered the flower part to give dimension, the layout of this card is influenced by Bunny lover & Izzy from the cricut message board, thanks for your inspiration guys

Circle compartment card from Faith Scrappers UK
Cut out 5 circles of card & 6 circles of patterned paper
Cut one of the card circles into ¼ you will need 2 of these as your end caps for your card
Fold you card into ½ then open up & fold in ½ the other way so you create a cross then open up & fold again in ½ you will end up with 2 ¼ sections & 4 1/8th sections use your bone folder to make sure your have a good creased edge
Now cut out one of the1/8th sections & you have your
Pac Man do you remember them?
Now cover the pac man with one of your patterned paper circle I find PVA type of glue best, then cut down the middle of pac mans mouth & fold the flaps over & stick down again using PVA.
Take another patteren circle & cut it into ¼ then stick one of the ¼ onto the opposite side to the opening over your other creased mark, this just makes it nice underneath
So here is your first compartment, to stick together swing the 1/8 piece over the front of the LH ¼ piece & stick with PVA glue, effectively this is a card & you could just complete this with end caps to make it nice, to make it a multi compartment card continue making compartments following the previous instructions on this page, you can make 1-5 compartments, any more & I think the card would not open properly
So here are 2 completed compartments all you need to do is stick them together ensuring the peak fold is in the same position on each compartment hold these together, a good PVA only takes 1 min to dry
So now take your 2x ¼ pieces of card & cover them with ½ piece of patterned, choose some ribbon so you can secure your card shut
Loop your ribbon over the spine of the closed card secure with double sided tape then tie your ribbon to keep the card closed, now stick your end cap on using PVA, & there you have it!
Here’s a four compartment card I made earlier, I have inked the edges but with this thickness you could probably use peel offs to edge it

you'll have to excuse the corsness of this card it is the humour us country bunkins live by, My Nan asked me to make a humourous card for her neice who will be 60 at the end of the month, there was a nobnail booted flea. is a rhyming game Jen & my Mum & aunts used to play as children I remember my mum saying them to me as a child too, so I drew a cartoon flea with boots on using my computer & me & DH worked on the rhyme, I used SB shadow & normal cut at 3" & cut a couple of ovals using DS, the papers used are from my stash not sure of name sorry, again another 8x8 card & I will make a box for it too

Gold & Green thank you card
Hi Here is the card I sent to Enfys for the wonderful candy she sent me yet another one of my large cards 8" square start with 2x A4 sheets then in ladscape score at 20cm which I did on the hammerd gold card then slide the other A4 sheet behind the fold & cut to size this bit is a dark green which I rollered with my jumbow roller & then heat embossed with gold powder, the fold over edge of the hammerd gold I have punched with the MS arch punch, before I stuck the green to gold I secured 2 brass rings (some findings I had in my stash) which I tied gold 2" organza ribbon through, then I have a frame panel from SB cart which I have inked in green & hand pricked this has been layered on a rustic brown card stock & I have punched the two inner corners with the MS arch punch & then have stuck a large brown bloom on that, now I love the stampin up greeting stamps but have not managed to buy any yet, we have an SU demonstrator coming to us in April, Kate, so I had a go & making some myself this is computer generated in green on lime card stock, I enjoyed making this one made a white box to send it in wrapped in the same organza ribbon.

Mothering Sunday
this is a mothering Sunday card I made for a friendto give to her Mum.
the text is computer generated, I first embossed through my cuttlebug the circle garland to surround the MuM then I embossed with the birds & swirls folder but instead of using a B plate I used a perspex plate I have with a 2" diameter hole cut in the center this allows me to emboss without touching the circle garland area, neat eh! I think you could use an old B plate & just cut a hole in it with a drill & circle saw attachment but i could not swear by this as I have not done that, my bit of perspex is part of a number plat acrylic that DH had lying around & I had a eureka moment ages ago, the bottom is the MS punch & I finished with a hand made bow in brown & cream spot & a complimenting ribon in cream & brown spot on the bottom
